  I had to make a "suicide stop" recently as I pulled up a freeway ramp and
suddenly confronted stalled traffic....and was truly awed by the stopping
power of my '82.   It felt as if it had ABS (which it doesn't, of course).
Flat-out amazing.  Cheers...
