Survey on the Factory Parts film (for USA Models) shows that this tranny (DZ) was installed on most 82 Diesels. Dates of manufacture are from October 29, 1981 through June 23, 1982.

Earlier Diesels used the DM tranny from August 1, 1980 thru October 28, 1991 (still the 82 model year).

Although the film doesn't give actual individual gear ratios, it does indicate that the DM and DZ trannys shared the same 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears indicated by the replacement part numbers.

However, the Ring and Pinions are different:

DM Trans: 38 Teeth on the Ring, 7 Teeth on the Pinion Shaft

DZ Trans: 41 Teeth on the Ring, 7 Teeth on the Pinion Shaft

I'm not a great person when trying to figure out ratios based on what the parts film says, so someone else on the list could probably translate this better than I can.
