Ken Wilford and I were discussing the use of pressure and temp guages taken
from junkyard audi 4000's and are in question about the pressure sender.  Is
the light/guage sender on the filter housing for the high side (ie, OPENS at
the twentywhatever psi) or for the low side (closes at 4or6or8 psi)?  The car
I'm getting my guages from has the two senders (One on the back of the head in
addition to the sender on the filter)  Does anyone know this answer, or happen
to have  bentley for the audi  (actually any vw with the dynamic system) and
can tell us positive, so I can run over to the yard, get the guage and let it
sit on my toolbox for six months while I try to find the time to install it!
