SS testimony time:

In 1979 the exhaust system on our 1976 Saab 99 GL was replaced with a stainless steel exhaust system. In 1989, when the 1976 Saab was retired, the exhaust system was removed and installed on our 1980 Saab 99 GL. In 1997 the Saab was sold. This car is still licensed and on the road today with the 1979 stainless steel exhaust.
