Tim, thanks, i agree that it can ring a little all the time too, but after a long drive in warm weather it REALLY rings and lurches clang-clang-clang-lurch-clang....etc then the next day after cooling off it only rings if i shift poorly, but when hot after the long drive there is just no way i can go into reverse and backup without getting this kinda response from it. it might be similar to asthma....you have it all the time, but when certain pollens come out it can be really bad later, fred Tim Smith wrote: > > Hi Fred, > > I think that's just your engine bucking a bit and the driveshaft slapping > round/back a bit.
