Alain,

My van does exactly as you describe. My mechanic says my cooling system is leak free yet I get these unexplained huge drops in coolant level in the reservoir tank without any signs of leaking. I just check it regularly and keep it topped up. The reservoir goes below min on average once a month. Let me know if you find an answer to this mystery.

Is it normal to add coolant here and there...or >should the coolant always stay at the same level ? > >Thanks >Alain Thibault >Westfalia 1991 >166000 kms > >
