Subject: How deep can pits be in the head?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Hi all; I am redoing a westy engine and want to know how deep the pits in the gasket mating area of the head can be before they require filling or replacing. I would also appreciate any comments on preferred methods for dealing with the pits.
