David, Be sure to back off the brake adjusters before attempting to remove the drums. The shoes tend to hold the drum in place, especially if they have been adjusted properly. If you yank on the drum and it seems to slide off the studs slightly, then bounces back, perhaps with a coiled-spring sound, then it's time to spin those adjusters back. Larry
