OK, to reverse the scenario, I do know that it's doable to put a Bus Type IV into a Vgon (I almost bought an '81 with a SMOOOOOTH-running '76 motor in it), but as I have never done an aircooled Vanagon engine swap myself, I need to know whether or not the larger bolt hole on a Bus motor causes any problems when installing into a Vgon.

After all, the Bus motor IS cheaper...
