Hello! I have a 1984 Wolfsburg Vanagon for sale. I found this van in a barn in Indiana a few years ago...it had very few miles on it and had not been driven for years. The owner was a VW dealer who used it just to take family vacations. The good news is that other than the traditional dinged-up rear bumper, this van is in excellent shape and looks less than half it's age. Interior (non-smoker) and exterior (no rust) are in great shape. The bad news is the engine is ready for a rebuild (or "the Kennedy Treatment" <grin>). In years past, I'd slip a new engine in and go another 100,000 miles but <insert a million excuses here>... Not sure what a fair price is, so make me an offer. I need to sell it quick not only for my emotional health, but our driveway can't contain all our vehicles as it is! Dennis |
