I remember a while back in an extensive thread on improving Vanagon lighting, someone mentioned the Wagner product. Well, since this long weekend has been dedicated to getting the Carat in shape, I figured I'd give it a try. First impression: a "slight" improvement, but nontheless an improvement, particularly on the high beams. I think my lighting inadequacies are largely due to bad aiming, so I'm going to find some flat ground and a plumb wall, re- aim and see if that helps. I think they are a bit pricey (12.00 USD ea. from the FLAP: I can get standard Wagner 9004s at the local discount club for about 4.00 or 5.00 USD ea.), but they give some improvement without having to worry about adding relays or being hassled at inspection time. Anyone else try these?
