>>4. The refrigerator seems like a PIA. Would I be truly lazy and worthless if I just put a block of dry ice in there when I travel? Also, I think my sink pump is broken. Is that worth the trouble to fix, or should I just carry a jug of water?<< Two things. first, don't be discouraged about the fridge. mine is 16 years old and works like a charm. just installed a fan on the cooling fins that'll move about a cubic meter of air a minute. worked great past weekend on camping trip along new river, nc. planning on putting in aux. battery soon. second. when i first got my westy the sink pump didn't work either. came to find out that the pump was fine; someone before me thought the knob worked like the one in thier house and turned around and around until they broke off the wires on the switch. possible problem you may have that is easier to get to and cheaper to fix. you never know. good luck, Jeff Rutledge 82 westy td |
