Dchec,
The show is on the grounds of SUNY Purchase, in Purchase, NY. It is not the
last exit on the Thruway, but somewhere near White Plains on 287 (NYS
Thruway). Look on a good map of the area and you’ll find it. I understand the
show is run by a local VW air and water cooled parts place called Rapid Parts.
The call it Water Fest and it is for Rabbit, Golf, Scirocco, Jetta, Corrado,
Passat, etc., water cooled cars. Rapid Parts themselves don’t sell much in the
way of Vanagon parts, but they do carry lots of lubes like Redline, and paints
from Wurth. There may be some Vanagons showing up, I’ll probably check it out
as its not far from me.
