Just stripped and repaired my 91 Westy Drain Plug/Hole myself. Total explanation in the Archives. Basically they sell a kit at most every FLAPS. I used STD threads, meaning take your drain plug in, you can eyeball a larger "oversize" self-tapper to screw in place, I paid extra for the tricky unit with a smaller steel plug inside the larger one that is now removed for oil changes. Worked great, cost $4.50 USD's, easy to install.
