------------------- Hi All, I have made some updates to the web site that hosts the digifant tool. http://taos.midwest.net/vw They include a diagnostic aid / fact sheet for using the digifant tool with normal voltage readings. A picture of the digifant tool enclosed in a 4x6x2 inch black box. A wiring diagram. Many, many have been asking for a wiring diagram. I also, with helpful question / dialog with Bill Dummitt from STL, made a wiring change so the throttle switch LED is lit when the switch is made. I had originally used negative logic for the switch and finally saw the light / LED. This tool makes digifant problem analysis so much easier. I can't stress this enough. If your temp2 sensor is suspect it is so easy to use a meter to check its operating voltage. The various digifant sensors / devices / can be tested dynamically for normal operation or anomalies . The AFM wiper , Temp 1 , and oxygen sensor are similarly a piece of cake to diagnosis. The 6 LEDs do a good job of indicating the status of digital controls , switches , etc. The parts cost are between $20-$30 from your FLEPS (friendly local electronic parts store) . I prefer you have the pleasure of making your own digifant tool. However if you desire to buy one ready to go I will make it a few for around $50. Thanks for your interest.
