Anyone have advice on fuel lines? >>

I've seen un-Godly fuel leaks on my 914's (Bosch MPC and AFC injection) Angel on my shoulder is the only reason I'm here-- Plus, having watched a 1976 bus erupt into flames and burn the motor to a cinder, (I subsequently purchased the bus from the fellow for $75, fixed it and drove it 45k, but that's a nuther story), anyway...REPLACE YOUR FUEL LINES every few years. Use the real-deal, cotton-covered hose from a reputable source. Replace any questionable clamps and fittings. Your fuel is pressurized to about 30 psi and creates a scary fountain of fuel spray when there is a burst line. If you can't recall when your hoses were replaced, schedule it ASAP.
