Bill,

two suggestions on cause of bucking on deceleration:

-timing is off or more likely - hall sender on distributor is cracked or going bad -trany is really loose somewhere in those gears and deceleration accentuates it -you need to downshift out of 4th gear when below 4000 rpms : )
