I haven't gotten very far with this idea yet, but I understand that in theory it is possible.

I represent Reimo Reisemobile here in the US. Reimo makes camper conversions similar to the Westfalias. As long as Reimo can purchase a US equipped panel van in Germany, I will have them do the conversion and ship it to me here in the US.

Reimo currently buys loads of EVs from VW, so if they will sell Reimo a US version, then all I need to do is come up with the cash.
