Welcome to the world of bad JAVA -- the kind of cute mini-applet that when poorly written, can indeed cause crashes. My guess is that your Mac is set up with System 7.6? My System 8.1 doesn't crash -- but it still will not show the "hit counter" and takes forever to load this page (which is why I now avoid it).

The golden rule of web design is: test any site on multiple machines with multiple browsers -- I guess LiMBO (and to a lesser extent, the Vanagon.com site) both fail in this regard.

Cheers,

MJS (former web designer)
