Give us some more information to work with. Do the lights come on, but won't crank? Cranks, but no spark? Etc.

Dave 86 Vanagon

Well, as far as cranking power, it was fine for awhile, then got weak. Hooked up some jumpers to it and that gave the crank we needed, but it still would not take. Cannot even smell gas when pumping the pedal. We only put 2.5 gallons in. It has been suggested that I need to put in at least 5 gallons to get gas through the system again. So I'm going to try that next.
