> Subj: Child seats in VW vans? > From: dmc@CYBURBAN.COM (DavidM) > > Has anyone experience with carrying young children in child seats in VW > vans (Vanagon or Euronav)? We use both an infant (rear-facing) car seat and a toddler car seat in our '88 Vanagon camper all the time. Either will fit in the front seat if you use a locking clip, or in the rear seat without. Sometimes I wish the rear seatbelts would tighten up a bit more and hold a bit firmer, but I think they're adequate. What I really wish is that the rear seats had headrests (whiplash restraints). It's not much of an issue now, but it will be as the kids get taller. -Steven |
