Well Volks, Pay attention to those pressure readings and bypass switchs. I just lost all my freon due to a clogged drier. Any tiny relief valve just went kaplooey on the top of it. Fortunately I had another drier and put it in. Going over to the shop for a recharge. If you haven't serviced your air in a long while or the drier hasn't been replaced since the dawn of time....do it. It's cheap insurance. Some of the symptoms I had were RPM relative whining from the compressor (starved for freon) and increased coolant temperatures from the buildup of pressure in the condensor. More to follow I'm sure.... but I guess the phrase for the day is "scrimping on parts is just dumb!" Scott De Santi |
