I'm parting out a Vanagon that was rolled which has a different arrangement on it for air conditioning. The evaporator has been located behind the glove box, under the dash. The sticker on the thing says it's from Behr-Aire of Fort Worth, Texas. Does anyone out there have any experience with one of these units, particularly how well they worked? It looks good, with the air coming out the side fresh air ducts, and the center of the dash through a custom grille that uses the radio location. The van was a custom conversion from Viking in Flandreau, SD. It had custom seats, upholstery, cabinets, overhead console, interior lighting, curtains, etc. It's a shame it met an early end.
