I've looked @ Westies, but not carefully: is the f'glas luggage area over the cab just a shell over the stock roof above the front seats? i.e., is there metal under the 'glas? If so, I'd be tempted to cut a hole in the 'glas, mount the antenna permanently, & seal it back up Austin ps - I've always had to be careful pulling into some gas stations/motels because of the raised roof - once forgot the antenna, had to buy some flourescents (& *DON'T* try to back up.....don't ask) |
