The 3-sided seal (rear and two sides) and the luggage rack seal just push into place, no adhesive required. If you are re-using your original flat seal (the part that goes across the top of the poptop where it comes down and meets the luggage rack), use a razorblade to separate it from the 3-sided part (if it is an original VW seal, which is all one piece), and then but the new seal right up to it. (I provide a little extra length so you can achieve a tight fit and trim to size.) If you are replacing the flat seal (I sell a very good duplicate of the original), you should use some weatherstrip adhesive or silicone adhesive to secure it, since unlike the other seals it does not use an aluminum clip. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot http://www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW |
