Well, it's now official. The above named 84 Vanagon GL is now a parts van. My 84 Westy needed a slave cylinder for the clutch, and since old blue has been sitting idle for nigh these many months... fuel in the crankcase, trans makes grindy noises :-( The van is in very good condition for 175K miles, with many parts replaced over the past three-four years. E-mail me with your requests. BTW - Bently says to bleed the clutch system only with a pressure bleeder. Natch, I don't have one, so I didn't use one. Can anyone tell me why I should have?
