Chances are one broke, one's on it's last legs, and two are worn but still serviceable. Ask your mechanic if he can help you out with some used ones to replace the worst ones. Run on them and the serviceable ones you have now, and save up for the ones that go bad later. Let us know what you come up with, maybe someone on the list has some good CV's they would let go cheap. Of course, if you really WANT a smaller, less thirsty car...? Larry
