Bad news.

Those of you following the cup holder thread and patiently waiting for updated information, all I can say is I'm sorry for leading you down the cup holder path.

One listmember did warn me that it didn't look right from the picture on my web page. But I was inclined to believe the catalog. Those clever Germans wouldn't mislead us, right?

The information under the pic is clear. VW T2, all bus types 1979-1990

Are the dashes of German buses different than the ones sent here? Surely not.

List member Steve Sittser came by today to pick up his Carver P4, and try on a cup holder for size. We tried everything to get one of these to fit. No way. could we make it work.

I guess it's back to the drawing board.

I do have a different dash console on order. This one has a picture of the Vanagon dash with the console sitting on it. The only catch is that this one is a bit more pricey $60

It may be a while before it arrives. I'll repost when I know more.
