5 miles per gal in a Vanagon? Well perhaps if you regap the plugs to.0065,remove two plug wires and turn the distributor 10 degrees either direction. now if it will run maybe 5mpg. But since I didn't read anything on poor performance I can only come up with three theories. Your return from the back of the pressure regulator is clogged, which I doubt. You never shift out of first gear while pulling a 20 ft trailer loaded with watermelons climbing Pikes Peak. Or you have a 16 year old in the area that needs gas for his auto. Serious, a little but it is friday. Marcus
