I am curoius to know if bucking is a common problem in 84 vanagons?  I don't
seem to have any major engine problems but I occasionally experience a bucking
sensation.  Mostly, I feel it in traffic when in a lower gear. I upshift and
still I sometimes get it.  I didn't think much of it until I read in one of
the postings on (why so many 84 and 85 westys for sale) that someone hasn't
had any engine trouble or that bucking with his van.   I would love to think
that I have nothing to worry about.  Any thoughts would be greatly
appreciated.
