I just got off the phone with my friend. No one has discovered his presence yet. He will be going to the VW dealer today for prices on the square E-code headlights and the canvas luggage rack bag and the "Camper" badge. I mentioned that I may want to get a few items for other people, and he said ok, but I did not approach him with the idea of a list group purchase. I'll ease him into the idea and keep you posted.

Someone posted to the list a while back about european vanagon tail lights...with the middle bulb, which is not used in the USA, serving as a rear fog-light on the left side only. Did I read that correctly? Is that really what the set up is?

I have a trial monday and hence will be off-list and pretty tied up till then. steve
