I need a head for a 1977 bus -- a friend's '72 GEX engine blew up, and
I'm trying to stuff a 1977 engine into it, but the one we have has the
typical dropped valve seat.


I've tried AVP and Kyle.  I can't seem to find numbers for Jim at the
Oldvolkshome/Sherwood -- I can't get a response on the web server there,
and I don't have *his* phone number either.  I also don't have Mark Stephens
number.  I was hoping to get this thing done before we leave for a long trip
Thursday.  Any help would be appreciated.  I need the 2l head for 1/3 side
(so no sensor port needed) with the round exhaust ports (not the Vanagon
version).  I'd prefer to get a decent head that won't drop another valve
seat in 1000 miles.  Kyle said he could get a GEX head, I think.
