Bentley provides Toe/Camber/Castor in degrees/minutes. Minutes appears to be a subset of degrees, so a certain number of minutes (60???) would equal 1 degree. (If this is true, then "1 degree, 60 minutes" would be the same as "2 degrees," for example.) But my assumptions here have to be checked.

The shop, however, needs Toe expressed in inches so you have to do a conversion from degrees/minutes expression to inches expression. The shop also needs Camber and Castor measurements expressed in hundredths of a degree instead of using the concept of minutes. Thus, it appears that if Bentley said "1 degree, 20 minutes" that the alignment shop needs you to say, "1.33 degrees" instead. This is what you are supposed to be checking on. Can anybody on the list weigh in with a discussion of these terms, or if I am having Malcom do it right?
