Hi group!
 
I am overhauling my 85' Vanagon engine, 177K miles.  I have have found a crack that runs from the intake valve seat to the exhaust valve seat, in narrow portion.  All four cylinders have this condition.  Is this common?  What should I do about it?
 
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
