Hi group again,

I bougth an engine gasket kit from our local VW for my Vanagon rebuild project. The kit came with a single tube of Universal-Dichtmasse 100PU sealant, a pretty green stuff. Has anyone used this stuff for the cylinder head gasket? I asked the dealer about it, and he suggested trying to find the old D 000 400 compound and using it.

I wonder if this stuff could be an improvment?

Any thoughts?
