Hi gang, posted a message earlier about other VW listserves with no reply. There must be some out there with 2.0l 16v VW's..others could help to. Some quick advise is needed please.

I've been lazy and haven't flushed the cooling system on any of my VW's for 5-7 years! I want to do this now to my Passat (16v, 2.0l) which I'm bringing out of hibernation. What antifreeze would you recommend. Also, will do the oil change which I've been religious about every 5k (kms). Thinking synthetic this time; what oil? 3-prong plugs? if so, which ones. Should I do the tranny (std) oil which is original, syntheic?

You get the drift, any help would be GREATLY appreciated, Bruce
