Sean - Glad to hear from one who has come to grips with the "karma" involved with VWs!!! I was looking out the window of my office at my '85 GL today thinking about how I drive the thing EVERY day and just do not suffer from the dire predictions the weak-at-heart tell us to fear from from driving these machines! Unlike my "ex", who dropped two engines while she had the van, I really have learned that VWs thrive on respect for things like OIL LEVELS, RPMs, WATER TEMPERATURE/LEVELS, OIL CHANGES and their SELF-IMAGE!!! I'm not even sure what some of the folks here have in mind. Maybe they should form a forum for their delight in their Caravans? BOB - WA4RRN |
