Hi Gary and all, I'm glad that the a/c recharge worked out to be that simple as I'm in rather the same boat. I don't know how much freon I have left in mine, but what I'm wondering is if there's not a leak, how does one lose all that freon? 2 lbs or so seems an awful lot to just "seep" out of hoses and seals and fittings. I just went through that on my Scirocco, and there I definitely had a bad o-ring... Joachim 90 Vanagon 78 Scirocco |
