>Charles - take a look at http:www.optimabatteries.com/main.htm. A car >stereoo shop carries these beasts for the kids who like to run KW stereo >amplifiers with 15 woofers in the back of their Rabbits! BOB - WA4RRN Hmmm, the Optima is a great battery, use the yellow top for deep cycle. It's not the greatest reserve capacity for the price but the sealed cleanliness makes up for it in my mind. I run a dozen of YTs (yellow tops) in one of my electric cars. I found it was a little too tall for under the drivers seat. I have one under the rear bench and I also managed to fit one in behind the right taillight. pictures are at: http://www.evcl.com/strvan/engine/a3battery.html Has anyone put one in the normal behind the seat location? Maybe on its side? -Otmar- 72(front),73(rear),76,78,82,87(parts) Stretched bus 82 A3 GTI Westfalia, turning into a hybrid electric stretch 86 Syncro 7 passenger Soon to be the front of the new stretch Several EVs (Electric Vehicles) Have owned way too many VWs to list. :-) http://www.evcl.com/strvan/strvan.html http://www.evcl.com/Picprev.html Electric Vehicle Components Ltd.
