I'm thinking of upgrading to the 2.1 litre engine for my 85 Westie and wondering how much of an increase I am likely to see in terms of powers. The local mechanic who test drove it last didn't seem to think it would be much...my current engine has low oil pressure and a lot of wear on it...will I notice a significant increase in power or should I go back to my Subaru contemplations and keep saving towards that...hoping the bus doesn't meltdown in the meantime...I figure it will cost 1000 plus more for the Subaru conversion, and I'm having a hard time finding someone willing to do the job here... Thanks for any advice, Rick |
