>super hot temperatures in the midwest are keeping the temp gage reading about >1/4 in from the far right mark. I see these posts about right and left referring to the temperature gauge in someones vanagon and always wonder about what's wrong with my tempgauge that's in the lower left quadrant of the tachometer. The "cold" end of my gauge is definitely to the "right" (counter- clockwise) of the "hot" end which is to the "left"... I'm always left wondering just where the needle might be...for example is the "far right mark" the HOT mark or the mark toward hot beyonf the LED? Perhaps I'm directionally challenged...but wouldn't it just be simpler to refer to the HOT end or the COLD end of the gauge...as in the above sentence: "...temp gage[sic] reading about 1/4 inch from the HOT mark" Or is everyone referring to clockwise as right and counterclockwise as left?
