Here's a tip how to make your own screens: - buy some screen and magnetic tape - cut screen to rectangle about 6" larger than window size (so if window is 6x12 cut 12x18) - clue magnetic tape to screen on all four sides (top and bottom may work also) - most tape has an adhesive side When you get to your camping site just cover the window opening with your screen. With the magnetic tape on the van it will hold the screen in place. The only thing that doesn't work is driving with the screen attached - you risk the wind blowing it off. Enjoy the fresh air without insects! I m planning my first camping in my '88 Wolfsburg Weekender this weekend. I wonder if there is any aftermarket "snap-on" screen window for the side sliding window??? Or anyone still have them and willing to sell??? Any info is appreciated... James '88 Wolfsburg Weekender Anaheim, California |
