There is three ways to get a foreign car in to Canada. 1 - U.S.A. 2 - Military - soldiers are allowed to take their car and come back with what they like 3 - People immigrating - there is a VW Polo that is owned by a friend of mine. He bought it off of some Spanish fellow. Personally if I were to import a car I would get something unique like the Syncro Golf County or the Syncro Rallye Golf, VW LT Camper or a 16" Syncro Caravelle At 12:24 7/16/98 -0400, Reinhold, Matthias wrote: >Has anybody ever looked into the possibility of importing a Vanagon from >South Africa? >What are the problems other than that the whole vehicle is 'mirrored'? >What about a T2 Bus from Brasil? >Or how about EuroCampers from Germany (not to talk about the >EuroSynchro)? >Any other thoughts? >Thanks for your input, >Matthias >1987 Vanagon GL Wolfsburg > > -- David Marshall, Quesnel BC, mailto:david@volkswagen.org -- -- 78 1.8L VW Rabbit, 80 2.0L VW Caddy, 87 Audi 5KQ -- -- 85 1.8L VW Cabrio, 88 1.6L VW Syncro Double Cab -- -- Volkswagen Homepage http://www.volkswagen.org -- -- USE DAVID@VOLKSWAGEN.ORG WHEN SENDING PMAIL -- |
