Glad you found the caps lock key, it gives your point so much credibility. :-) All kidding aside, It's true that the result won't be a syncro, but it'll still be 4WD and I think it will be much more practical and interesting than a simple synchro. Just imagine what your syncro would do with 280 HP on tap. What fun!! I'm using one 2wd diesel westfalia for the back, and "KILLING" one 7 passenger Syncro for the front. The result will be a Hybrid Electric Syncro Westfalia Stretch GTI which will do a much better job of preventing destruction of the earth than any syncro out there. Did you know that the first 5 minutes of driving a gas engine pollutes as much as the next 400 miles? I figured you didn't. Through this project I'm trying to find a way to combine the clean fun of my electric cars with the fun of a syncro westfalia. It's all a big comprimise in the end. Maybe someday VW will sell us hybrid syncros, Now that would be great!! Have fun! -Otmar- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Otmar Ebenhoech Electric Vehicle Components Ltd.
