Well after spending the entire morning playing with it, I finally got it starting like a normal car with the relay. Wanted to thank everyone for assisting me in this project. I ended up replacing the cable from the auto shifter to the starter (ignition cable) with a 12g cable. One replaced, I found a ground spot an Voila, started like a charm. I also made a small hole under the rear seat and ran the cables from the relay, through the hole and to the solenoid and ignition cable. I did that so I won't have to ever go under it to replace the relay or hot wire it. It is cool! Thanks Nate El Great 85 GL- Starting like a normal car. |
