Carl - I swear the only use I have ever had for an automobile horn is to attract the attention of good looking women in the vicinity, friends I wanted to wave at or dumb animals who like to wander around in the road.

I HAVE heard rumors that horns are useful for "warning" folks of stuff that might be dangerous, but I have never witnessed the effectiveness of this use.

This may be the reason that I have NEVEr suffered from the lack of a horn. BOB-WA4RRN
