Subject: Mech in Cincinatti?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

I've found a van in a town outside of Cincinatti, OH called Harrison. It seems like a good deal so I was just going to go buy it, but I'm beginning to think that I will feel better if I had a mechanic look it over first. The problem is, I (and my usual mechanic) are a little over two hours away from Cinci, so it does seem likely that this van and this mechanic will meet before I own the van.

Anyone recommend a mechanic in the area that will look the thing over, and maybe do a thing or two that might make it more suited for the drive home?

Any mechnically adept list members in the area that would be willing to meet me to look the thing over--perhaps in exchange for a free meal or something?

thanks, mac
