I've had OEM fuel pumps buzz loudly for 50,000 miles, don't worry the pump
until it dies, then the Hella Piersburg for about $120 is a fine product
around here lifetime warrantied from Advanced Auto.

Brakes squeal, period (VW particularly).  If the pads don't have the groove
down the center like OEM, cutting such a groove (or finding even generics
with it) my improve things, as might some of that anti squeal goop, or the
aluminum foil backing shim stuff, but brakes squeal.

Tires, whatever Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com) has cheapest if you want to
save $$, probably a Continental (a fine tire despite what some EV owning
whiners might say) in 185R14 reinforced under $50 each.  Or anything in a
C-loader in 185R, 195/75R, 205/70R or even a massive 27x8.5R14 (I'm running
a neat reasonably priced Firestone AT in this size but it does affect your
revs and speedo to the tune of about 5%, but the added 1" ground clearance
can come in handy)  You can seek out the lauded Yoko Y370?s if you want to
blow more $$$, but IMHO avoid the Y356 highway ribbed tread tire.  The
Contis are likely the best bang for the buck for a stock correct tire.
