I like to rotate between a nice Guinness stout (my fave), Redhook Blonde Ale, Redhook Hefie-Weizen (not for everybody), St. Pauli Girl Dark, Beck's, Heineken, Grolsch, and on occasion, Long Shot. Hey, wasn't Guinness supposed to come out with a pale ale? If they have, I can't find it... but would LOVE to make an all-Guinness black & tan for once. :)

There is a nice local microbrewery in the town where I'm going to grad school that makes the BEST pale and blonde ales, and they were going to brew a batch of hefie-weizen soon- I can't wait!!! I definitely recommend checking out the local microbreweries wherever you go.

Dunno- does each van require a different buzz?

Blaaaaaaaa! Tequila! I had 9 or 10 shots over 45 minutes one night two years ago, and have sworn off the stuff since. Mix a stiff marguerita or tequila sunrise, and I will hate you for life. :(

On the subject of liquor, has anyone tried Rohöl? It's supposed to be like Jägermeister, only better.

Susan, if I had known you as a beer-hating undergrad, would I have seen you around Taco Bell at 1:00 AM with the munchies? (only kidding) :)
