Fair enough. I responded to the guy (Dave?) who was looking for info on problems that owners might be having with vanagons or eurovan, but I responded directly instead of to the list. So here's the response:

David:

We purchased a 1993 Eurovan--in 1993--and have driven it for the past five years as the only family vehicle. We use it mostly in town and on endless weekend trips to the suburbs for soccer matches (three kids), although we have taken it on several long trips (Canada, Ohio, etc.). Other than routine maintenance (oil changes, tune ups, tire rotation, fluids checks etc., one brake job, one muffler replacement, and one replacement battery) the only maintenance problems we have had are a broken power window cable (covered by warranty and replaced on both sides by recall due to defective original cables, which happened in the first year and have been fine ever since), relacement of the receiver/driver unit in the air-conditioning system (after four years), and just recently a problem with the air circulation fan which has not yet been diagnosed. In general the van has been very reliable.
